Museo Tanit (Calle Constitución 1, San Bartolomé) – located in an 18th century residence, this museum is dedicated to the island’s ethnic history – going back to the early periods of Spanish settlement. Items found there range from traditional Canarian musical instruments and songs, to traditional pottery, wine storing areas (bodegas), and displays of folk costumes. Admission: €6 (adults), free for children 12 years and under. Hours: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (Monday – Saturday).
