Jazz…Mi Madre! (Centro Comercial Calipso, Av. Islas Canarias, Costa Teguise) – this jazz lounge is known for its relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a conversation while the sounds of the guitar, sax and clarinet solos linger in the background. Jazz Mi Madre opens Wednesday through Sunday at about 10 p.m. Videos of concerts are played on a large screen prior to live music performances. It attracts a 30 to 50 year old crowd. The spacious bar area is perfectly situated so you can enjoy the live music, and comfy chairs arranged in an “L” shape help make a lengthy sit-down more comfortable.
